Spellbinders Poinsettias
Another one of the Christmas cards I made this year. Simple and elegant. Just an embossing folder background, a Spellbinder rectangle die cut, some die cut foliage and my hand made poinsettias.
Woodware Noel
Another Christmas card this time using a Woodware stamp. I stamped it on the card first, then stamping again on another piece of card, coloured it with Distress Ink Markers and then cut out the individual letters and decoupaged them. Added some die cut holly twigs in the corners, berries with little pearls drops and a few red gems to finish.

December Birthday Card
Hello Crafters - love this 6 X 4 card so easily put together with Stampin Up Botanical Bulider Framelits dies. The sentiment just stamped directly onto the card with a very old stamp. The card was made using up scraps of card which was very satisfying! Keep crafting. Mags X

Diwali Card 2016
Hello Crafters
This is the card I made this year for my friends who celebrate Diwali. The card is 8 X 8 and I used the Corners Die 18585 from Couture, Memory Box Lower Case Alphabet for the sentiment teamed with a peeloff (peeloffs can be useful at times - I can be a bit picky about using them but they do have a place occasionally). The flower is the Viva Decor Bella with Dahlia stamp layered up after stamping with Versamark and heat embossing with gold embossing powder. I painted the flower with Cosmic Shimmer Iridescent Mica paints. The lovely design behind the flower is an Inkadinkado stamp that I have had for ages and again stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. To finish just mat and layered with gold and turquoise holographic mirri card to make it 'pop' a bit. Hope you like it. Happy crafting. Mags X

Cute card from left over card
Hello Crafters - another sweet little 3 X 3 card from left over card scraps and peeloffs. The Tattered Lace Pine Branch is just the ticket to bring it all together. Mags x
Left Over Card Scraps Converted into Cards
Hi there Crafters - should be wrapping presents but crafting matters much more important!! Made these dinkie little 3 X 3 cards using left overs that I was determined to do something with. Have had the peeloffs forever and they needed to be used. Put with some Tattered Lace Fir Branch die cuts from mirri board I was pleased with how good they looked. Great for stand alone cards or for gift tags on Christmas gifts. I have promised myself that I really will use up some of my older craft stash before I buy anymore. Have you all said that to yourselves before???!!!!! Mags X
No Christmas Spirit
Hello Crafters - we all know someone who does not get into the Christmas sprit and this little chappie from Hobbyart just fitted the bill for a friend of mine. Love Hobbyart stamps. Coloured him iwith Distress Markers and added some glitter for snow with a Quickie Glue Pen. Computer generated sentiment. Quick and easy but effective. Have a good day - Mags x
Honey Doo Bottle of Vine Stamps
Hello Crafters - hope you are all having a peaceful Monday and not getting too stressed with Christmas preparations!! This is a card I made using Honey Doo stamps and heat embossed in gold. The colours look a bit dull in this photo but in real life it was a very bright and regal card. Good one for a gentleman.

Shabby Chic Christmas
Love shabby chic but have never really been inspired to try it until I saw a card made by the talented Bev Rochester on her blog "All The Things That I Love" at http://bevscrafts.blogspot.co.uk I don't often copy other people's work exactly but thought I would see if I could emulate Bev's beautiful card. I had most of the things that she had used in my craft stash but I hadn't thought of bringing them all together the way Bev did. I sent a photo to Bev and she generously gave me permission to put it on my blog. I so enjoyed making this card and I think that 2017 will see me doing much more shabby chic! Many thanks indeed Bev!!
